TARPO is a leading solutions provider in the tents, tarpaulins and soft roof shelter space. We specialize in providing quality solutions in a variety of industries including oil & gas exploration, mining, hospitality, tourism, military, and disaster relief. Our products can be found as far as Australia, the Caribbean, and Canada, in addition to a majority of the African continent.
Founded in 1975, we are one of the oldest players in the tents and tarpaulin industry, and thus, we have established ourselves as leaders with a strong footage and an extensive chain of clients. Our headquarters are in Industrial Area, Nairobi where we have a 5,000sqm manufacturing facility that is capable of consuming over 200,000sqm of PVC and canvas fabrics.
Our products are designed to survive harsh weather conditions in most remote areas, while still providing a safe and comfortable living and working environment. Additionally, our 2,000sqm warehouse allows us the ability to hold significant amounts of inventory of ready to ship standard tents and related products making it easier to meet unpremeditated emergency conditions such as relief efforts for natural and political disasters. This combination of factors makes us a trusted partner and supplier to most NGO’s and humanitarian aid organizations such as the UN, USAID, MSF, ICRC, and The Red Cross.
