The Manyatta canvas dome tent is a compact, lightweight solution for camping accommodation reminiscent of the indigenous housing of the Maasai of East Africa.
It is double roofed, with a ripstop canvas inner tent and flysheet which is suspended over the inner tent using 2 poles. The poles are staked to the ground by guy ropes to provide extra stability and the flysheet offers weatherproofing by protecting the inner tent from rainwater.
A sewn-in PVC groundsheet is used as flooring. The frame consists of collapsible cross poles which are cord-linked for easy assembly and dismantling. Ventilation is optimized through the use of meshed windows and naturally breathable canvas.
The Manyatta 8 comfortably sleeps 2 to 3 adults while the Manyatta 10 comfortably sleeps, 3-4 adults.
